How plans are submitted
Mogale City's Building Development Management takes plans by hand at its counter: Furncity Building, ground floor, corner Human and Monument Streets, Krugersdorp, 08:00 to 14:45 on weekdays. Its page mentions no online submission. Phone: 011 951 2118, 011 951 2162 or the switchboard on 011 951 2000.
What the checklist asks for
- copy of the title deed
- three sets of plans, one in colour and two black and white, signed by the owner, the architectural professional and the engineer
- electrical layout
- solar geyser specifications
- fenestration (glazing) calculations, and the 20% hot water requirement for new buildings
- schedule of areas, and a window and door schedule
- zoning certificate and SG diagram
- sewer layout
- neighbours' consent letters
- SACAP form and engineer appointment forms
- building line relaxation letters, if applicable
- stamped fire plans, where applicable
What it costs
Mogale City's 2026/27 tariff charges by floor area from a table in 10 m² steps, excluding VAT. Some of the rows:
