The information on this site
Pages on this site explain building regulations, council processes and costs in general terms, with the sources they were checked against. They are not legal or professional advice for a specific property. Your plans, your stand's zoning and your council's decision are what count.
Plans and quotes
Council fees, engineers' fees and town-planning fees are separate from the fee for the plans, and are paid to whoever charges them.
Approval
Approval of building plans is the municipality's decision. We prepare complete submissions and follow them up; we cannot guarantee an outcome or a date.
Plans are drawn and signed by architectural professionals registered with SACAP, in the category the work requires. Approval is the municipality's decision and its timing is theirs; nobody can promise either. Information on this site is general and was checked against the sources named on each page; it is not legal advice for your property.
