Building plans, drawn and approved.
Registered professionals draw your plans and take them through council. We are based in Pretoria and work across Gauteng: additions, rental rooms, carports, as-built plans for a sale, a new house.
What are you building? Find out if it needs plans.
How it works
From the first message to the council's decision.
- Tell us what you want to build
A WhatsApp message is enough: what you want to build or sort out, and the suburb. Photos or an old plan help if you have them.
- We look at the stand and the rules
Zoning, building lines, the title deed conditions and what your council will ask for. If something needs a town planner first, we tell you what we find before drawing.
- Plans drawn and signed
Measured, drawn to SANS 10400 and signed by a professional registered with SACAP in the right category for the job.
- Submitted and followed up
We submit to your municipality, answer the plan examiner's comments and follow the file with the council.
What we draw
Every set is signed by a professional registered with SACAP in the category the job needs.
Every council in Gauteng
Each one has its own system, checklist and fees. Here is what each publishes.
Before you start
Plain answers, with the law and the council documents they come from.
Tell us what you want to build
A WhatsApp message with the suburb and a line about the project is enough to start. If you have photos, an old plan or the erf number, send those too.
Questions people ask
Who draws the plans?
A professional registered with SACAP, the council for the architectural profession, in the category the job needs. That is what the law and the councils require.
Do you work outside Pretoria?
We are based in Pretoria and work across Gauteng. Each council's rules are on our council pages.
What does it cost?
It depends on the size and kind of work, and the council adds its own plan fees. Our cost guide shows published market prices and each council's fees.
